Top 10 Chiropractic Studies of 2013

As 2014 comes to a close, it’s time to review top studies from the year prior. Over 2013, many pertinent studies were published in the area of chiropractic research. Most of them show the amazing benefits of chiropractic therapy and bring proof to the fact that chiropractic treatment is often a better solution than surgery, injections or drugs.

Here is a list with the conclusions of the top 10 studies performed on chiropractic care in 2013.

  4. Blood Pressure Can Be Lowered with Chiropractic – Research is being done in a new direction: how chiropractic adjustments can affect blood pressure. The study is quite new, but the preliminary results show that, indeed, chiropractic treatment can lower blood pressure.
  5. Chiropractic Is the Most Effective Solution for SI Joint Pain – The study aimed at finding the best treatment for patients with dysfunction in the sacroiliac joint that presented leg pain. The patients went through one of the three options: intra-articular corticosteroids injections, physical therapy and chiropractic manual therapy. Besides noteworthy pain relief, chiropractic therapy had a success rate of 72%, whereas corticosteroid injections had 50% and physiotherapy only 20%.
